About the artists

 

This year local Odissi dancer is Sanatani Rombola disciple of Smt Sujatha Mohapatra. Sanatani is of Italian dissent and passionate about Odissi. She managed to live in India for several years to learn Odissi from the eminent Guru. She currently resides in Brisbane and teaches Odissi.

Bharatanatyam artist Mr Praveen Kumar is from Bangalore. He enthralled the Chennai audience in Music Academy. He has been awarded the best dancer for 2018 by Music Academy, Chennai.

Kuchipudi artist Sailaja Narayanaswamy is well known for her artistic presentation and is a senior disciple of Kuchipudi legend Dr Vempatti Chinna Satyam.

Kathak as always is the vibrant finale of the festival. This year Kathak will be presented by Smt Gauri Diwakar disciple of Jaikishan Maharaj and Aditi Mangaldas.

Venue &Timings

We are once again hosting the festival at Bryan Brown theatre at Bankstown. This is a well-appointed venue, suitable for classical solodancers and has a maximum capacity of 300 seats.

Festival starts at 2.00 pm and concludes at 8.00pm.

This is a 6 hours show with 4 solo artists performing on the day.

Over the years Madhuram is well known for providing a quality show at a very affordable price to the community.
