NATYANJALI AUSTRALIA HIGHLIGHTS 09

Natyanajali Australia 2009 formed by Gayathri Krishnamurthy, Bharathanatyam dancer and student of Dhananjayans and Sydney Carnatic Vocalist Aruna Parthiban is a novel venture that is working towards consolidating the dance scene in Sydney. Last night saw the coming together of different dance schools and dancers under the umbrella of ‘Natyanjali’ providing a smogasboard of different styles to an audience of about 250 people. “We hope to hold more programmes of this nature in the future” says Aruna Parthiban. Natyanjali Australia, is an independent organisation which has no connection to the organisation with a similar name in India.
